I responded to a craigslist ad on Wednesday, Joe was at me home within an hour offering an estimate for my move two days later. The estimate was the second one I received that day and was far lower than the first. He was very professional and clearly knows his business so I obviously went with A Father & Son Moving Company.

I am not one who usually writes these kind of testimonials but what this family business did for me was way beyond the call of duty. Moving day started with a call from the driver who was in route and scheduled to arrive in 16 minutes according to his GPS. Once they arrived it was straight to work. I have a lot of stuff, 2,600 sf plus a packed 2 car garage. They managed to fit everything on their truck carefully and thoughtfully packed, amazing. I moved myself in the past and took 2 trips with my rental truck. My friends and family were all on hand helping us clean and were completely amazed by the professionalism, skill, and stamina of our movers. You can tell these guys are the real deal.

The beyond the call of duty part comes next... The movers are ready to travel to our new house. We arrive to see a moving truck in the driveway, the previous tenants were not moved out yet !! What? They were supposed to be gone the day before. Our movers (A Father & Son Moving Company) immediately assesses the situation and came up with a gameplan to make this work by helping them move out while they were moving us in. It was very sad to see our movers running circles around the other guys who were clearly day laborers, not real movers. Despite running over by 3 hours (which they did not charge extra for) and the unusual circumstances, A Father & Son Moving Company was very polite and professional throughout the day.

I have no problem recommending them to you, in my opinion they are the best movers I have ever seen. Thanks again guys and I will definitely be sending business your way. I really like to see small companies like yours doing things the old fashioned way, with care and respect.
